Welcome to the page dedicated to my "Qozmyx" project! Allow me a few words about my work in general. I started this project some 2-3 years ago in order to release my own electronic music, as simple as that. I make music for fun, because I like it, because I am enjoying it, because it makes me happy and because I couldn't really find such kind of music which I can fully like out there. So, I decided to make it by myself. My music is dedicated to technology, industry, nature, computers, programming, space, robots, atmosphere, science, darkness, mathematics, ... And it sounds like technology, industry, nature, computers, programming, space, robots, atmosphere, science, darkness, mathematics, ... well, most of the time. And, what is perhaps the most important thing, it expresses my feelings, atmosphere and memory of some particular moment at some particular point in time. Maybe it sounds very "old-school", raw and uncompressed, but I like it to sound this way and I prefer to work this way, with minimal compression and limiting, to preserve dynamics, rawness and "dirtiness" (some would say). All this provide essential parts of the style which I simply called "Industronika" (or "Atmorobotique", as I used to call it sometimes in the past) ...

My music is completely made on synthesizers simply because I am not really a fan of other musical instruments like guitars etc., not at all, I am "at home" with synthesizers only. I don't use software a lot, except for sequencing and some effect processing, because I am a professional software developer and I have enough software on work. For sequencing, I am using my own sequencer, which I developed as a necessity because I found all current sequencers on the market way too complicated for my taste. I just wanted something simple (but expandable) to do the work. All in all, my "studio" is very primitive compared to today's standard, but it works for me.
